An early bloomer with large, fragrant, white, double flowers appearing before the foliage emerges in spring. A springtime thriller that will add a nice touch to the landscape as the seasons progress. Useful as an open-branched, multi-trunked large shrub or as a small specimen tree. Excellent cold and heat tolerance for a magnolia. Deciduous.
Combines an excellent weeping form and vigorous growth habit with vibrant lavender-pink flowers in early spring. It can be trained to grow taller by attaching the leader, or uppermost limb, to a stake when it is young and pliable. Makes an excellent tree in the garden or lawn, as a foundation planting or planted along the edge of a woodland. 2-3' bareroot.
Continuous new growth through spring and summer, large glossy leaves that are wine-red in color before turning green with age, and rose-colored flowers. In late spring, blooms cascade over green foliage, and new growth afterward comes in glossy red again.
